A SiC boat, short for silicon carbide boat, is a high-temperature-resistant accessory used in furnace tubes to carry wafers during high-temperature processing. Due to the outstanding properties of silicon carbide such as resistance to high temperatures, chemical corrosion, and excellent thermal stability, SiC boats are extensively utilized in various thermal treatment processes including diffusion, oxidation, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), and annealing.

Silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic is a type of advanced ceramic material known for its exceptional properties and wide range of applications. It is characterized by high strength, high density, high purity, high chemical stability, high thermal and electrical conductivity, high temperature resistance, radiation resistance, strong lubrication and easy processing. Isostatic graphite belongs to specialty graphite.

At present, the most important direction trend of substrate development is to expand the diameter. The 6-inch mass production line in the global SiC market is maturing, and leading companies have entered the 8-inch market.
